1999 saw Eurobiz assigned to pick up the then-neglected Norton Street Festival and breathe new life into it through a complete repackaging of entertainment.

Eurobiz came up with an Entertainment Programme on two stages. Secured rising young comedian, Joe Avati as Guest MC on the Main Stage. Flew in Italo-American singing superstar, Moreno Fruzzetti as Special Guest Artist. And produced a mix of traditional and popular entertainment which wowed an audience of over 60,000.

Leichhardt's annual street celebration would never be the same again.
