2000: The Festa's 'anno Amorosi'
   

In 2000, Leichhardt Chamber of Commerce confirmed Eurobiz in the role of Entertainment Director for the renamed 'Italian Festa on Norton'.

Returning this positive gesture, Eurobiz came up with a showbiz coup… As Special Guest Artist, they presented young pop superstar, Vanessa Amorosi, and in the title words of her breakthrough hit. Song, "Absolutely Everybody" loved her!

 

 

 Again, a full day's entertainment was presented on two stages. The Main Stage, with top comedian Vince Sorrenti in charge as MC, handling the popular and high-profile performers. The Community Stage presenting youth acts and Italian cultural items with broad appeal to young families and children.

The Italo-Australian community and people from all over Sydney responded big time and flooded Norton Street Leichhardt, with over 120.000 attending.
