Once again, the stars of TEN came out by day for Festa 2002. And Network Ten were joined by another big Media Sponsor — Sydney's Best Mix, top rating radio station MIX-106.5 FM.

The Eurobiz Entertainment Programme also came up with a couple of Italo-Australian aces ! MC Vince Sorrenti had colourful company with legendary Mamma, Maria Venuti, to assist the fun and games. And popular singing star John St.Peeters on a big relaunch season with his new autobiography, new CD and a new Star City show, was our Special Guest Artist.

We put the Community Stage in Pioneer Park for the first time and families loved it. Norton Plaza ran the old favourite, a chocolate wheel and delighted Festa visitors with fun and prizes. Vince and Maria had them rolling in the aisles. John St.Peeters had them bopping in the street. And MIX-FM DJ, Dave Wright wasn't content to just judge novelty contests, he had to stick his face into the Pasta-eating Contest — and we mean right in !
