ABOUT AISHA

Mikis Theodorakis always thought that beauty and talent were a rare combination - until he met AISHA and cast her in his Opera.

The famous composer and legendary film-music writer of 'Zorba the Greek' spotted Aisha when she was the first Belly Dancer to perform in Megaron Mousikis, the major music theatre of Athens.

Aisha's dance journey began at just 14, when she began her studies in ballet and modern dance - and even then, something exotic, flamenco. She was then apprenticed to famous Egyptian dancer/teachers, Raquia Hassan and Aida Nou. Later studies followed under master choreographers in Lebanon, Turkey and Morocco.

Aisha's colourful dance repertoire and stunning Belly-Dancing skills embrace styles of Modern Egyptian, Turkish, Lebanese, Greek and Gypsy.

A popular headliner at major hotels and resorts around the Mediterranean, Aisha has also performed and taught in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Toronto and Hawaii.

Aisha is a magnificent dancer of international renown - just one of her videos on You Tube received over 1/2 a million visits.

Eurobiz is proud to be bringing her to Australia for the first time - where she will perform in intimate, cabaret style, at selected, major Middle Eastern restaurants in Sydney from 22nd February 2010 and in Melbourne from the 7th of March.
